oThreading the machine
*Raise the thread take-up lever to its highest position by
turning the handwheel counterclockwise.
*Raise the presser foot lifter.
*Place a spool on the spool pin, with the thread coming
off as shown
[] Draw the end of the thread around the upper thread guide.
[] While holding the thread near the spool, draw the end of
the thread down around the check spring holder
[] Firmly draw the thread up from rightto leftover the
take-up lever, and down into the take-up lever eye,
[] Slide the thread behind the needle bar thread guide on
the left.
[_Thread the needle from frontto back, or use aneedle

[] Raise the needle to its highest position_ Push down the
needle threader knob C) as far as it will go,.
The hook comes out through the needle eye from
behind.
[] Paying close attention tothe needle point, draw the
thread around the guide (_) and under the hook (_)_
[] Release the knob slowly while holding the thread end (_)
with yourhand. Aloop ofthe thread ispulled up through
the needle eye
NOTE:
The needle threader can be used witha #11 to #16
needle, or a#11 Blue needle,
Thread size 50 to 100 is recommended.
