For 25 years from the date of purchase, Sears will provide free repair for the die-cast metal internal frame of this
sewing machine if it is defective in material orworkmanship
10Year Limited Warranty on Internal Mechanical Components
For 10 years from the date of purchase, Sears wilf providefree repair for the internal mechanicaI components of this
sewing machine if they are defective inmaterial or workmanship This 10 yearwarranty does notinclude beIts, which
are only included in the 90 day warranty described betow_
2Year Limited Warranty on Sewing Machine Exterior Components
For2 years from the date of purchase, Sears will provide free repair for all components ofthe sewing machine exterior
if they are defective in material orworkmanship. This 2 year warranty does notinclude needle plates or accessory
parts, which are only included in the 90day warranty described below.
2Year Limited Warranty on Electrical Equipment
Fortwo years from the date of purchase, Sears will provide free repair forthe electrical equipment of this sewing
machine, if any part of it, including motor, wiring, electronic circuitry, switch and speed control, is defective inmaterial
or workmanship. This 2 year warranty does not include light bulbs, which are only included in the 90 day warranty
described below.
90 Day Limited Warranty on Mechanical Adjustments and Specified Parts
For 90 days from thedate ofpurchase, Sears will provide:
•free mechanical adjustments necessary for the proper operation ofthis sewing machine, except for normal
machine care maintenance as described inthe owner's manual
•free replacement ofbelts, light bulbs, needle plates andaccessory parts ifdefective in material orworkmanship
This 90 day warranty does not include sewing machine needles, which are expendable parts..
Warranty Service
AIi warranty service is available by returning this sewing machine tothe nearest Sears Parts &Repair Center.
Ifthis sew}ng machine isused forother than private family purposes, all warranty service is available for only 90 days
from the date of purchase.
Except for 90 Dayson Mechanical Adjustments and Specified Parts (see above), all warranty service covers only
defects in material and workmanship. Sears will not pay for:
1.. A service technician to instruct the user in correct product installation, operation or maintenance°
2.. Aservice technician to clean ormaintain this producL
3 Damage toor failure of this product if itis not installed, operated or maintained according toall instructions
supplied with the product.
4. Damage to or failure ofthis product resulting from accident, abuse, misuse or use for other than its intended
purpose.
5 Damage to or failure of this product caused by the use of detergents, cleaners, chemicals or utensils other than
those recommended in all instructions supplied with the producL
6o Damage to or faiture of parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modification(s) made to this product
