Manual Exposure Mode

Use the Viewfinder’s Exposure meter to help you set both the shutter speed

 

and aperture value for the scene’s lighting.

1. Rotate the D-Dial to the desired setting in the Drive area.

2. Set the Mode Selector lever to M.

3. Lightly press the Shutter button to verify the focus. Select the desired aperture value by rotating the C-Dial, and set the shutter speed by turning the S-Dial.

4. Verify the setting in the viewfinder.
