General Camera Maintenance
!Clean the outside of the camera by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Never use
harshor abrasive cleanersor organic solvents on the camera or any of its
parts.
!Clean the lens:
Donot use cleaning solutions unless they are designed specifically for camera
lenses. Do not wipe the camera lens with chemically treated eyeglass lens

1Blowgently on the lens to remove dust and dirt.
2Moisten thelens by breathing lightly onit.
3Wipethe lens gentlywith a soft,lint-free clothor an untreated lens-
cleaningtissue.
General Safety
!Tokeep from damaging your camera, avoid exposing it to moisture and
extremetemperatures.
!Do not allow anychemicals, such as suntan lotion, to come into contact with
thepainted surface of the camera.
!Never disassemble or touch the inside of the camera.
!Ifyou notice smoke or a strange smell c oming from the camera, immediately
turn off the camera, wait afew minutes until the camera cools, then remove
thebatteries.
!Ifyou use the camera in an airplane, observe instructions of the airline
company.Radio waves emitted by the camera may affect the airplane
instruments.
