Using YourBatteries
!Keepall batteries away from children.
!Yourcamera has been designed to operate correctly using four, 1.5-volt AAA
alkaline batteries. Kodak recommends using KODAK Photolife AAA Alkaline
Batteriesin the camera.
!Removethe batteries whenstoring the camera for extended periods of time.
!Alwaysfollow your battery manufacturer sdirections fully. Do not attempt to
disassemble,short c ircuit, or subject the battery tohigh temperature orf ire.
!Replaceall batteries of a set at the same time. New batteries should not be
mixed with used ones. Donot mix different grades or brands of batteries.
Failureto observe this precaution may resulti nsome batteries in a set being
driven beyond their normal exhaust point and increase their possibility of
leakage.
!Inthe unlikely event that battery fluid leaks onto your skin, immediatelywash
thea ffected skinwith soapand plenty of water. Customers inside the US can

careprovider.
!Wedo not recommend the use of rechargeable batteries in the KODAK EZ200
DigitalCamera.
!Battery performanceis reduced at temperatures below 32°F(0°C). Carry
sparebatteries when using your camera in cold weather, and keep them
warmuntil you are ready to take pictures. Do not discard cold batteries that
donot work. Once warmed, they may be usable.
!When disposing of batteries, follow the manufacturersinstructions and any
locala nd national regulations. Kodak suggests customers take advantageof
any community battery recycling programs that may exist in your area.
