bizhub 180 Features and Functions

NON-SORT

In Non-Sort mode, the copies are stacked on top of each other as they are made.

SORT

When copying or printing two or more copies of a document, the output can be divided by sets containing a copy of each page.

There are three types of sorting available:

• Electronic Sorting

Shift Sorting

Criss Cross Sorting

Electronic Sorting outputs the copies into complete sets like the originals used to initiate

the copy job. For example, if you make two copies

of a three-page document, electronic sorting will output pages 1,2,3 as one set and then pages 1,2,3 again as the next set. The bizhub 180 must be equipped with the optional Automatic Document Feeder, the DF-502 to utilize this feature.

Shift Sorting stacks the sorted copy sets in the same direction in a saw tooth manner by shifting the originals for each set output. One of the optional Document Feeders AND the optional Shift Tray, the SF-501 must BOTH be installed on the bizhub 180 in order to utilize this feature.
