AUTO COPY START (Queued Copy Jobs)

When a document is loaded and the START key is pressed during the warm-up cycle, the copier will automatically start the copy cycle as soon as it completes the warm-up cycle.

INTERRUPT

The Interrupt Key allows a user to interrupt the running copy job to run a copy job that is required immediately. The Interrupt Key is used most often during a long continuous copy or print cycle. Instead of canceling the job, it is temporarily interrupted to run a quick job that is needed. Once the second job is completed, the Interrupt key

is pressed a second time to resume the interrupted job.

AUTO TRAY SWITCHING

When a paper tray runs out of paper during a copy cycle and there is another tray loaded with paper of the same size and in the same direction, the copier will automatically select that tray to continue the copy job.

AUTO PAPER SELECTION (APS)

When equipped with the optional DF-502 Automatic Document Feeder or DF-605 Reverse Automatic Document Feeder, the copier detects the size of each original and selects the proper paper size.

AUTO MAGNIFICATION SELECTION (AMS)

When equipped with the optional DF-502 Automatic Document Feeder or DF-605 Reverse Automatic Document Feeder, the copier detects the correct size of each original and calculates the correct magnification (zoom) ratio to fit the selected paper size.
