DF-605 RELIABILITY

The DF-605 is a very well constructed document feeder designed to reliable feed up to 80 originals. Among the rollers incorporated into this feeder to enable it to feed originals reliably are: pickup roller, feed roller, separator roller, registration roller, transport rollers, exit/turnover roller.

When originals are loaded into the document feeder and the Start key is pressed, the Take-up Motor starts turning backward, causing the Pickup Roller to lower and start turning at the same time. As the Pick Up Roller starts to lower and turn, the Take-up Roll starts turning well. When the document reaches the Registration Sensor, the Feed Roll starts turning forward and, at the same time that the Pickup Roll goes up, drive

is given to the Registration Roller. When the Transport Motor starts turning forward, the two Transport Rollers and the Exit/Turnover Roller feed the document toward the exit direction. During turnover, the Transport Motor turns backward to turn the two Transport Rollers and the Exit/Turnover Roller backward.
