Using the Manual Mode Menu

-This section explains the menu options that are available in Manual mode.

-Unless otherwise stated, the settings for these menu options are retained until you change them, regardless of whether the power is turned off.

Available menu options

-Shooting modes

1)Program : This is the default mode.

The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture size. (p.76)

2)Aperture: The aperture is set manually and the camera then sets the shutter speed automatically. (p.78)

3)Manual : The shutter speed and aperture are both set manually. (p.79)

-Continuous & Bracket : Allows you to select the Auto Bracket function (p.81) as well as the Continuous Shooting function (p.57).

- Image Size

- Self Timer

- Color

(p.56)

- Exposure Compensation(p.71)

- White Balance

(p.72)

- ISO

: You can set the sensitivity. (p.82)

- Fixed Focus

: Allows you to lock the focus setting. (p.82)

- Custom

: You can specify a range of image quality settings. (p.83)

The details of the Continuous, Image Size, Memory Priority, Self Timer, Color, Exposure Compensation and White Balance modes are not explained in this section.
