4.3 Installing the accessories
•Unpack the activated carbon filter and in- sert it into the instrument (see Fig. 4). Make sure to insert the filter with the correct side facing upwards. See label (6) at the front of the filter - the arrow must point upwards.
•Unpack the magnetic stirrer and insert into the retort.
•Install the console flap (covers floppy drive and ports).
lPrior to filling the bottles with reagent for the first time, check the connections. If neces- sary, tighten manually.
Remote fill / drain hose
•Connect the remote fill / drain hose as shown in Fig. 5.
•Important!
When inserting the hose into the fill/drain connection (item 7 in Fig. 5) the connecting device (8) of the hose must lock with an au- dible click.
