2.3 Integrated safety devices
The instrument is equipped with the following protection features:
•overpressure protection,
•protection against excessive vacuum,
•overcurrent protection,
•overheating protection.
Overpressure protection
The design of the pressure system ensures that no dangerous levels of pressure can build up.
Protection against excessive vacuum
The vacuum system is not capable of generating a dangerous vacuum condition.
Overcurrent protection
Overcurrent conditions are protected against by both the mains fuse and the separate heating power fuses.
Overheating protection
The design of the heating system ensures that no dangerous overheat- ing conditions can occur.
