Reagent warnings

If the RMS is enabled, the instrument will give you warning messages when reagents have been used for too long.

Warning messages for normal reagents are given based on up to 3 criteria; warning mes- sages for paraffin wax on up to 6 criteria.

The warning messages are displayed at the end of a cleaning cycle. From there, you can go directly to the REAGENT STATUS screen.

In addition, warning messages (on a yellow background) are displayed in the program start screens.

Criteria for warning messages

For normal reagents, the following warning cri- teria apply:

number of blocks processed

number of programs carried out

number of day lapsed

since the reagent has last been changed.

For paraffin wax, three additional criteria can be applied:

number of blocks processed

number of programs carried out

number of days lapsed

since the wax has last been cleaned.
