Youcanprogramyourcomputersothatwhenthebatterypowerfallsbelowacertainlevel,threeevents
occur:thealarmgoesoff,amessageisdisplayed,andtheLCDisturnedoff.Doasfollows:
1.StartPowerManager.
2.ClicktheGlobalPowerSettingstab.
3.ForLowbatteryalarmorCriticallylowbatteryalarm,setthepercentageofthepowerlevelandset
theaction.
Note:Ifyourcomputerenterssleep(standby)orhibernationmodewhenthebatteryislow,butthealarm
messagehasnotyetappeared,themessagewillappearwhenthecomputerresumes.Toresumenormal
operation,pressOK.
HandlingthebatteryDANGER
Donotattempttodisassembleormodifythebatterypack.
Attemptingtodosocancauseanexplosion,orliquidleakagefr omthebatterypack.
AbatterypackotherthantheonespeciedbyLenovo,oradisassembledormodiedbattery
packisnotcoveredbythewarranty.
DANGER
Iftherechargeablebatterypackisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery
packcontainsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:
•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
•Keepthebatterypackawayfromre.
•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.
•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.
•Donotshort-circuitit.
•Storeitinacooldryplace.
•Keepitawayfromchildren.
Thebatterypackisaconsumablesupply.
Ifyourbatterybeginstodischargetooquickly,replacethebatterypackwithanewoneofthetype
recommendedbyLenovo.F ormoreinformationonreplacingthebatterypack,contactyourCustomer
SupportCenter.
DANGER
Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcancause
thebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorameto“vent”fromthebatterypackorcoin
cell.Ifyourbatteryisdamaged,orifyounoticeanydischargefromyourbatteryorthebuildup
offoreignmaterialsonthebatteryleads,stopusingthebatteryandobtainareplacementfrom
thebatterymanufacturer.
