Attachinganexternalmonitor

Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto2048x1536(withanexternalmonitor
attachedtotheCRTconnector)orupto2560x1600(withanexternalmonitorattachedtotheDisplayPort
connector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.Formoredetails,referto
themanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothat
thesametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,
youcanseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.Youcanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththe
TrackPointoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputt othecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothintheDisplay
Settingswindow(inWindowsXP,DisplayPropertieswindow).
