Playingsound
Yourprojectormighthaveoneormoreaudio-inputconnectors.Toprojectsound,youwillneedtoattachthe
comboaudiojackonyourcomputertotheseconnectors,usinganaudiocable(commerciallyavailable).
UsingdualdisplaysUsingtheExtenddesktopfunction
YourcomputersupportsafunctionnamedtheExtenddesktop.WiththeExtenddesktopfunction,you
candisplayoutputonboththecomputerdisplayandanexternalmonitor.Youcanalsodisplaydifferent
desktopimagesoneachmonitor .
YoucanusetheExtenddesktopfunctionwithoutchanginganysettings.Ifthefunctiondoesnotwork,refer
to“EnablingtheExtenddesktopfunction”onpage75toenableit.
ConsiderationsforusingtheExtenddesktopfunction
•IfyouwanttoshowDOSfull-screenwhileintheExtenddesktopmode,onlytheprimarydisplayshows
DOS;theotherdisplayisblackedout.
IfyourcomputerhastheInteldisplayadapter,youcandesignatetheotherdisplayastheprimarydisplay
bydoingthefollowing:
1.P ressCtrl+Alt+F12.TheIntelCUIwindowopens.
2.SelectExtendedDesktop.
3.Changethesettingtodesignatetheprimarydisplay.
•WhenanapplicationusingtheDirectDrawortheDirect3Displayedinfull-screenmode,itisshown
onlyontheprimarydisplay.
