TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
No weld output, no gas flow and no
high frequency at spark gap
Low weld output current when
operating in remote control
POSSIBLE
CAUSE
1. Check arc start switch or
remote control unit
2. Make certain both the TIG
Module and the welding power
source are powered up
1. Make certain the welder power
source is in the remote control
mode
2. The current control (R4) may
be set too low for the process
RECOMMENDED
COURSE OF ACTION
If all recommended possible areas
of misadjustment have been
checked and the problem persists,
Contact your local Lincoln
Authorized Field Service Facility.
OUTPUT PROBLEMS
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely,
contact your local Authorized Field Service Facility for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.
