Managed 24-Port with Dual Gigabit Switch
Port Statistics
Port Statistics display key statistics from the Interfaces Group and
Ethernet-like MIBs for each port. Error statistics on the traffic passing
through each port are displayed. This information can be used to identify
potential problems with the Switch (such as a faulty port or unusually
heavy loading). The values displayed have been accumulated since the last
system reboot.
Select the required port.
Interfaces Group
In Octets - The total number of octets received on the interface, includ-
ing framing characters.
In Non-Unicast Pkts - The number of non-unicast (that is, subnetwork-
broadcast or subnetwork-multicast) packets delivered to a higher-layer
protocol.
In Discards - The number of inbound packets which were chosen to be
discarded even though no errors had been detected to prevent their being
deliverable to a higher-layer protocol. One possible reason for discarding
such a packet could be to free up buffer space.

IPMulticast Registration Table - Displays all the multicast groups active
on this Switch, including the multicast IPaddress and the cor responding
VLANs. (Only displayed for Layer 2mode. When the Switch is in multi-
layer mode, IPMulticast Registration Table is available through the IP
Menu.)
IPMenu - Displays information regarding a variety of IP settings, includ-
ing subnets, ARP table, routing table, and multicast groups. (Not shown in
screenshot. Only available in multilayermode)

selected port. You have a choice of viewing port or RMONstatistics.

(RMONg roups 2, 3, and 9 can only be accessed using SNMP manage-
ment software).
