Appendix N: Remote Viewing (Mac)

Prerequisite:

• Follow the steps on page 51 to page 58 to set up remote viewing on the DVR.

NOTE: The remote viewing interface on the Mac is identical to the PC, with the exception of the Search menu. For details on how to configure the system remotely, follow the PC remote viewing instructions.

NOTE: When connecting for the first time, you will be prompted to restart your Safari browser after installing the plug-ins. Make sure you exit the browser completely (right-click on the Safari icon, and click Quit).

Remote Viewing on the Mac

Upon login, the Remote Surveillance main screen opens in your browser.
