Appendix H: Connecting a PTZ Camera

Using the PTZ Menu (Local DVR)

To control the PTZ camera locally on your DVR:

1Select the channel that the PTZ camera is connected to.

2Press and hold the PTZ button on the front panel of the system for 6 seconds. The PTZ menu opens.

3Manipulate the PTZ controls on screen.

Channel:	Speed Slider:
Select the channel the PTZ camera	Increase or decrease the pan and tilt speed
connects to.

	Click the + and - symbols to
Direction keys:
	adjust the camera Zoom, Focus	Camera Pre	-set controls
Click to pan and tilt the camera	and Iris settings
