Appendix L: Replacing the Hard Drive

The system comes with a pre-installed 3.5" SATA hard drive. You can expand the system with a replacement single hard drive up to 2 terabyte (TB).

NOTE:Make surethat the system is OFF and the power cable has been disconnected before changing the hard drive.

Removing the Hard Drive

To remove the hard drive:

1Remove the screws from the side panel (x2) and rear panel (x4) of the cover.

2Gently slide the cover away from the rear panel and lift off. Be careful of sharp edges.

3Disconnect the power and data cables.

4Remove the screws from the mounting brackets.

5Gently remove the hard drive from the housing.
