6. How to Install Options
Right out of the box, your Meridian helps you do your work faster and easier. And as your needs change, it's easy to add new components to improve the performance, power, and flexibility of your system.
This section explains how to install some of the most popular computer accessories. Usually, upgrading your system is as easy as opening the case and sliding in a new feature.
Caution:
Whenever you work inside the computer, electrostatic discharge can permanently damage your equipment. Always ground yourself by touching the metal portion of the rear panel before beginning these procedures. We strongly recommend using an antistatic wrist strap attached to the “FG Terminal” on the left side of the rear panel. See illustration in Chapter 2, Back View.
