4Place the fuser oil roller on a table or level surface.

Attention

Since the fuser oil roller removed here is

to be installed in the new fuser unit,

handle it with care.

If you set the fuser oil roller on the table

do it as shown in the illustration. Do not

allow the roller surface to contact the

table or get dirty. This could lower image quality.

5Turn the release levers

(front, rear) to release

the fuser unit.
