When Energy Mode i s set to Fast
Power On, press and hold the
MENU
button on the side panel for over
eight seconds.
When Energy Mode i s set to Low
Power, press
POWER
on the side
panel to turn on the TV. Wait for TV
to turn on, then press and hold the
MENU
button on the side panel for
over eight seconds.
Allows the side panel controls to
be unlocked if the remote control is
misplaced.
System Reset If the T V does not turn on
or off, does not respond
to the remote control or
side panel buttons, or
has audio but no video.
Press the
SYSTEM RESET
button on the side
panel with a pointed object such a s the
point of pencil or end tip of a papercl ip.
The TV will turn off and the blu e LED
will flash quickly for about one m inute.
When the blue LED stops flashing,
you may turn on the TV. The changes
you made most recently, before using
SYSTEM RESET
, may be lost. Changes
you made previously, however, are
not lost.
TV Reset
IMPORTANT:
Use this reset
only if all other
resets have been
unsuccessful.
To reset all consumer-
accessible settings
and all memories to the
original factory defaults .
CAUTION: All owner-
performed setups and
adjustments will be
erased.
1. While viewing th e TV, press
MENU
to
display the TV Main menu.
2. With the Main me nu displayed,
press number keys 1 2 3 to display
the Reset menu.
3. READ TH E ON-SCREEN
WARNING AND INSTRUCTIO NS.
If you do not wish to use this
reset, press
EXIT
or
MENU
to back
out.
If you do wish to use the reset ,
press
ENTER
to erase all memo-
ries and settings.
The TV will start the initi alization
process. The TV will the n turn off
and the front blue LED will star t
flashing. When the LED stops
flashing (approx. 1 min.), you
can turn the TV on again. The
Parental Lock Pass code will rema in
unaffected, but all other memo ries
and settings outlined in this O wner’s
Guide will need to be set again.
