It’s your phone, make it that way!

Tip: For the quickest way to customize your phone, open the Start menu by pressing the left soft key (-) (Start). Then, use the thumb wheel to scroll to zPersonalize My Q and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s) to see more personalizing options.

profiles

Each profile uses a different set of sounds, ring styles, earpiece volume settings, or vibrations for incoming calls and other events. For example, the Outdoor profile volume is much louder than the Normal profile.

You can choose from these profiles:

Normal Vibrate Automatic

SilentOutdoor

To choose a profile:

1From the home screen, press and hold the home key (X) to open the Quick List.

2Use the thumb wheel to scroll to a profile and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s)

to select it.

Indicators can appear at the top of your home screen for the Silent (Q) and Vibrate (<) profiles. The indicator

%means the speakerphone is on (see page 27).
