3Scroll to Modem Link and press the center select key (s).

4Press the right soft key (+) (Activate).

5Using the USB data cable, connect the phone to your PC.

6When a window displays prompting for the device driver, select “Install the software automatically” and press “Next.”

The driver is installed on your computer and ready for setting up a network connection.

Note: If you do not have the Companion CD, or want the latest version of the device and computer drivers, go to http://www.motorola.com/support/Q9c and the User Support Dial-up Networking section.

To establish a new network connection, on your computer:

1Click “Start” and then “Control Panel.”

2Double-click “Network Connections” and then “New Network Connection Wizard.”

3Follow the prompts to connect to the Internet using a modem:

•Network Connection Type: Connect to the Internet

•Getting Ready: Set up My Connection

•Internet Connection: Manually connect using a dial-up modem

•Select a Device: Smartphone wireless USB Modem

•Connection Name: Type a connection name.
