5With the picture open, press the right soft key (+)

(Menu), scroll to Use as Home Screen, and press the center select key (s).

For some pictures you can crop the area and adjust the transparency.

6Press the right soft key (+) (Finish) to set the picture as the home screen background image.

You can use the shortcut icons across the top

of the home screen or, depending on the layout, customize them:

1From the home screen, press the left soft key (-) (Start).

2Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Personalize My Q and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s)

to select it.

3Scroll to Home Screen Shortcuts and press the center select key (s).

4Scroll to Show User Defined Shortcuts and press the center select key (s) to select it if it is not

already selected.

5Scroll to Define Shortcuts and press the center select key (s).

6Use the navigation key (S) to select shortcuts, and then press the left soft key (-) (Done).

To customize the right soft key as a shortcut to your favorite feature (for soft key location, see

page 2):

1From the home screen, press the left soft key (-) (Start).

2Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Personalize My Q and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s)

to select it.
