Note: If you are out of network coverage, and your phone tries to sync 3 times without finding a network, your synchronization settings automatically revert to manual synchronization. To set your synchronization schedule back to the desired frequency, you need to reset the Schedule option in the ActiveSync settings on your phone. To find these settings, press the left soft key (-) (Start), select ActiveSync, and then press the right soft key (+) (Menu). Then select Schedule.

When you receive a message, your phone plays an alert and shows New Message with a message indicator, such as C.

1Press the left soft key (-) (Start).

2Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Messaging and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s)

to select it.

3Scroll to the e-mail account name and press the center select key (s).
