Use these text entry keys:

text entry

delete	Press the back key (À).
start a	Press the enter key (j).
new line
enter capital	Press the shift key (k). Press it
letters	once for just the next letter or
	twice for all letters.
enter	Press the function key (H) and
symbols, etc.	then the shift key (k).

text prediction

As you enter letters, your phone might try to predict the word. For instance, when you enter “prog,” it might predict “program.”

To select a prediction, press down on the navigation key (S) to highlight your selection and then press the center select key (s). To enter a space after your

characters instead of using the predicted text, press the space bar.

To turn off text prediction:

1From the home screen, press the left soft key (-) (Start).

2Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Settings and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s) to

select it.

3Scroll to Text Input Settings and press the center select key (s).

4Uncheck Suggest words when typing, and press the left soft key (-) (Done).
