Batteries

Remove the battery from the protective case provided in the original packaging. When the battery is not attached to the phone, store it in this case.

Attaching the Battery

1 Remove the battery cover located on the back of the phone. To do so, release the lock at the bottom of the battery cover by pressing up on the latch.

2Remove the cover by sliding it away from the antenna.

3Insert the battery with the “+” and “-” at the top. Install the bat- tery bottom first, then press down on the battery to secure it.

4Replace the battery cover and lock by pressing down on the latch.

Detaching the Battery

1If the phone is turned on, press f until the message Powering Off displays.

2Release the battery cover by pressing the battery cover latch upward.

3Remove the cover by sliding it away from the antenna and lift the battery out of the phone.
