Casual portrait posing
A favorite type of posing is the type where
you’re capturing the subject just as he
would be positioned in everyday life: play-
ing the piano, watching TV, or lounging
around home. The goal with casual posing
is to capture the image of the subject as if
there were no posing at all.
I find the best types of casual posing are
when parts of the body are positioned to
allude to relaxation, such as the head rest-
ing in the hand, elbows resting on knees,
