It might sound strange, but a gun case
works great for carrying two light stands,
two background stands, the background
cross-bar, and roll of seamless background
paper cut down. Gun cases are available at
sporting good stores and are relatively inex-
pensive. Additionally, they come in various
sizes and weights— the possibilities are
endless.
The hard sides keep my equipment safe,
and the cases are generally lockable so no
one can get into my gear without a key. It
may look a bit strange, but they are a great
alternative to the soft cases many stands
come with, and you can carry several items
in one case.
