Amount: You may have heard the
terms high key or low key lighting.
Simply put, high key lighting is
bright and evenly lit, usually having
a bright background and a low
light ratio of approximately 2:1.
Conversely, low-key lighting is dra-
matic lighting, often featuring dark,
shadowy areas and ratios of at
least 3:1 or higher.
