This mode enables you to choose the camera aperture (lens’ minimum to maximum in 1/3 steps) manually. The camera automatically selects an appropriate shutter speed (8 to 1/2300 sec.) to ensure correct exposure.

Turning the Command dial after setting Aperture-Priority Auto Exposure mode changes the aperture in 1/3 steps.

Note: Control range of the camera

When the subject is too dark or too bright (beyond the control range of the camera) and the Shutter release button is lightly pressed, the selected aperture display pulses. If this occurs, change the aperture setting to avoid incorrect exposure.

2 Confirm the Exposure condition in the Control panel or Exposure

meter display in the Monitor and set the aperture and shutter speed by rotating the Command dial.
