ABOUT LCD

The N70 uses a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) of the highest quality which, under conditions of normal use, should provide several years of reliable operation. After this period, contrast may deteriorate and display information may start to fade. You can have the LCD replaced at a nominal charge by contacting an authorized Nikon dealer or service facility.

Red-Eye Reduction is set with 8peedlight other than the Nikon 88-28/88-27/88-26.Camera automatically switches flash sync mode to Normal 8ync.

Red-Eye Reduction with 810w 8ync is set with 8peedlight other than the Nikon 88-28/88-27188-26. 810w 8ync will be performed without Red - Eye Reduction.

When Night 8cene Program or Motion Effect Program is selected, you try to set Red -Eye Reduction with 8peedligfht other than 88-28188-27/88-26.810w 8ync will be performed without Red-Eye Reduction.

At high temperatures of 60'C 1140' F or above, the display tums black, making it impossible to read. It retums to normal when the temperature drops to 20'C/68'F.

At temperatures below freezing, the LCD's response time slows down; it goes back to normal when the temperature rises.
