Number of Exposures Remaining

The following table lists the approximate number of images that can be saved on a 4 GB memory card.

Note that due to JPEG compression, there is a significant difference in the number of images that can be actually saved depending on the composition of the image, even when the memory cards have the same capacity and the image mode is the same.

In addition, the number of images that can be saved may differ depending on the make of the memory card.

If the number of exposures remaining is 10,000 or more, “9999” is displayed.

After removing the memory card, check the indicator showing the number of exposures that can be stored in the internal memory (COOLPIX S9500: approximately 23 MB, COOLPIX S9400: approximately 65 MB) on the screen during shooting.
