Display the shooting screen Mdbutton Me(Movie) menu icon (A6) MMovie options

You can select the type of movie to record.

The camera can record normal speed movies, and HS (high speed) movies (E46), which can be played back in slow motion or fast motion.

The larger the image size and bitrate, the higher the image quality; however, the file size also becomes larger.

The frame rate is approximately 30 fps for all options.

*iFrame is one of the formats supported by Apple Inc. The movie editing functions (E27) cannot be used. When using the camera’s internal memory for recording, the movie recording may end abruptly for some image compositions. Using a memory card (Class 6 or higher) is recommended when taking important movies.

CNote on Bitrate

The movie bitrate is the volume of movie data recorded per second. As a variable bitrate (VBR) system has been adopted, the movie bitrate varies automatically according to the subject so that more data is recorded per second for movies containing frequently moving subjects, thus increasing movie file size.
