Options Available in the Shooting Menu (A(Auto) Mode)

	Option	Description	A
	Image mode	Allow you to select the combination of image size and
		image quality used when saving images. The default setting	E29
		is r4896×3672.
		Adjust colors in the image closer to the colors as they appear
		to the eye. Although Auto (default setting) can be used
	White balance	under most types of lighting, you can apply the white	E31
		balance setting suited to the sky conditions or light source to
		achieve better results if default setting results are
		unsatisfactory.
		Select the method that the camera uses to measure the
	Metering	brightness of the subject. The camera adjusts the exposure,	E33
		which is a combination of shutter speed and aperture value,
		based on the brightness measurement. The default setting is
Shooting		Matrix.
		Set the mode used for taking a series of pictures.
		• The default setting is Single (i.e., only one picture is
Features		captured at a time).
		• When Continuous H, Continuous L, Pre-shooting
	Continuous	cache or BSS (A40) is set, the pictures are shot
		continuously while the shutter-release button is pressed	E34
		all the way.
		• If Continuous H: 120 fps, Continuous H: 60 fps or
		Multi-shot 16 is set, the specified number of pictures are
		shot continuously when the shutter-release button is
		pressed all the way.
		Higher ISO sensitivity allows you to take pictures of darker
		subjects. Additionally, even with subjects of similar
	ISO sensitivity	brightness, pictures can be taken with faster shutter speeds,	E37
		and blurring caused by camera shake and subject
		movement can be reduced. When set to Auto (default
		setting), the camera sets the ISO sensitivity automatically.
		Set how the camera determines the focus areas using the
	AF area mode	autofocus to Face priority (A67), Manual, Center,	E38
		Subject tracking or Target finding AF (A66) (default
		setting).
		When Single AF (default setting) is selected, the camera
		focuses only while the shutter-release button is pressed
	Autofocus mode	halfway. When Full-time AF is selected, the camera focuses	E41
		even when the shutter-release button is not pressed halfway.
		You may hear the sound of the camera focusing.
	Quick effects	Allow you to enable or disable the quick effects function	E42
		(A32). The default setting is On.
