Installing and Operating Passport ARN Routers

If you are installing your ARN in an electronic equipment rack, make sure that the rack meets the following specifications:

•Heavy-duty steel construction

•Electronic Industries Association (EIA) standard hole-spacing

•Width of 19 in. (48.26 cm)

•Depth of 24 in. (60.96 cm)

Electrical Specifications

Your installation site must meet the following power requirements:

•Proximity to wall receptacle: within 6 ft (1.8 m) of the ARN

•Voltage: 100 to 240 VAC

•Amperage: 0.5 to 1.0 A

Table C-1 lists the wall outlet requirements.

•Humidity: 10% to 90%, noncondensing

•Temperature: 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C) stable
