Inspecting the server interior
Introduction

You should perform a visual inspection for loose components, foreign

matter, or shipping damage inside the server.

To inspect the server interior

1Carefully check all the cards to ensure they are fully seated on the
baseboard.
2Check for any loose wires or foreign objects, such as loose screws,
inside the chassis.
3Review the slot locations (see “Slot definition and slot numbering” on
page 14).
4Do one of the following:

When working with interior components, u se an ESD wrist

IF THEN
you observe any damage contact your Nortel Networks
technical support representative.
