10.Edit the /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp file to add the new MAC address: vif = [ 'mac=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, bridge=xenbr0', ]

11.Create the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file with the following contents:

TYPE=Ethernet

DEVICE=eth0

BOOTPROTO=dhcp

ONBOOT=yes

HWADDR=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

12.Create a new initrd image. Use the kernel version for your guest operating system.

mkinitrd -f /boot/initrd-2.6.9-42.0.3.8.2.ELsmp.img 2.6.9-42.0.3.8.2.ELsmp --omit-scsi-modules --with=xen-vbd

13.Reboot the computer.
