•Are you trying to play back the m otion pictures by directly insert ing the card in the card slot of
the TV?
>Connect the camera to the TV with the AV cable (optional), or with the HDMI micro cable,
and then play back the motion pi ctures on the camera. (P87)
•When [System Frequency] i s set to a broadcasting system different fr om that of your region,
images may not be played bac k correctly.
•When [System Frequency] i s set to [24.00 Hz (CINEMA)], you cannot play back images on a
TV connected with an AV cable.
•Is it connected properly wi th the HDMI micro cable? (P87)
•Is the [VIERA Link] on this unit set to [ON]?
>If the input channel does not switch automatically, use the remote control for the TV to
switch it.
>Check the VIERA Link setting on the connected device.
>Turn this unit off and on.
>Set [HDAVI Control] to [Off] on the TV and then turn it back to [On].
(Refer to the operating inst ructions of the TV for details.)

•It is a sound of le ns movement or apert ure operation when t his unit is turned o n or off, and it is
not a malfunction.
•The sound, which is caused by th e automatic adjustment of the apertur e, is heard when the
brightness has changed due t o, for example, zooming or the moveme nt of the camera. This is
not a malfunction.
•Press [MENU/SET], selec t the [Setup] menu icon [ ] and then select the [~] icon to set the
desired language.
•The surface of the camera and t he reverse side of the monitor may be come warm during use.
This does not affect the performa nce or quality of the camera.
•If you do not use the camera for a l ong time, the clock may be reset.

The motion pictures cannot be played back on a TV.
VIERA Link does not work.
There is a sound from lens unit.
An unreadable language was selected by mistake.
