When recording with normal flash and setting to 1st curtain, as the flash fires the shutter curtain is simultaneously opened. When recording a moving subject and setting to 2nd curtain, the flash fires just before the shutter curtain is closed. The light source is captured following the moving subject fired by the flash.
[Preparations]
•Set the operational mode dial and REC mode dial. (P25)
•Press the flash mode button to select slow
1 Press the [MENU] button.
2 Press 3/4 to select [SLOW SYNC.].
3 Press 2/1 to set to [1ST] or [2ND].
•1st curtain A
•2nd curtain B
4 Press the [MENU] button.
•The menu will disappear.
5 Take a picture.
•The recording method is the same as in “Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)”. (P28)
•In AUTO [ ],
[ ] mode, it is not possible to set this mode.
•When recording in slow synchro mode, the use of a tripod is recommended.
•Recording in slow synchro mode is available only when the flash mode is set to slow
