Selecting the Function (Macro)
If a series of commands (up to 16 keystrokes) are programmed in the system’s
memory by your installer and the commands are assigned to the “A”, “B”, “C” and
“D” keys on a touchpad, you can operate the desired function by selecting
“FUNCTION A”, “FUNCTION B”, “FUNCTION C” or “FUNCTION D” through the
function menu.
Refer to “Macro Key Programming & Usage” on pages 25 to 26 in the 3000EN
Security Systems User’s Guide.
Make sure all perimeter doors and windows are closed and is
displayed.
: Press the soft key ( ), and follow steps 2 to 5 above, using
the cordless handset. Press [OFF] to go to the standby mode.
1Press [ADT].
2Scroll to “OTHER FUNCTIONS” by pressing [

3Press [

] at “FUNCTIONS A-D”.
4Scroll to the desired function key by pressing

].
5Press [

] at your desired selection.
• The function which you set to the function key is
performed.
