Security System Displays
1The base unit and cordless handset display status icons below:
2While the phone is in the menu mode, the display
shows real time status, or the display shows the
screen to enter a number or set the date and time.
3“ ” is used to enter the function menu for the security system. To operate
“ ”, press the left soft key.
4“ ” is used in event of emergency (panic). To operate “ ”, press the
middle soft key, then press the appropriate emergency key (see page20).
• ADT Monitoring Service must be in effect!

Base unit Cordless handset

Icon Meaning

The phone is ready to arm the security system.
The security system is armed.
The phone is not ready to arm the security system. The
protected doors/windows may be open (faulted). Close
them, or try bypassing the faulted zone if you want the zone
to remain unprotected.
