3 TelephoneAutomatic Dialing
3.1 Storing names and
telephone numbers into
one-touch dial
Up to 22 telephone numbers can be stored in
one-touch dial for quick access.
LStation 1 to 3 can be used alternatively as
broadcast keys (page 38).
LYou can also send faxes using one-touch dial
(page 37).
1Press {DIRECTORY PROGRAM}.
2Select the desired station key.
For stations 1–3:
1. Press one of the station keys.
Example: STATION 1
DIAL MODE [±]
2. Press {SET}.
For stations 4–11:
Press one of the station keys.
For stations 12–22:
Press {LOWER}, then press one of the
station keys.
3Enter the name, up to 10 characters (see
page 29 for instructions).
4Press {SET}.
5Enter the telephone number, up to 30 digits.
6Press {SET}.
LTo program other entries, repeat steps 2
to 6.
7Press {DIRECTORY PROGRAM}.
Helpful hints:
LYou can confirm the stored entries in the
telephone number list (page 66).
Note:
LA hyphen or a space entered in a telephone
number counts as two digits.
To correct a mistake
Press {<} or {>} to move the cursor to the
incorrect character/number, and then make the
correction.
To delete a character/number
Press {<} or {>} to move the cursor to the
character/number you want to delete, and press
{STOP}.
3.2 Storing names and

the navigator directory
Up to 100 telephone numbers can be stored in
the navigator directory for quick access.
LYou can also send faxes using the navigator
directory (page 37).
1Press {DIRECTORY PROGRAM}.
2Press {>}.
3Enter the name, up to 10 characters (see
page 29 for instructions).
4Press {SET}.
5Enter the telephone number, up to 30 digits.
6Press {SET}.
LTo program other entries, repeat steps 3
to 6.
7Press {DIRECTORY PROGRAM}.
