Storing Caller List Information in the Directory

You can store numbers that are in the Caller List in the directory.

This feature can operate only with the handset.

Make sure the unit is in the standby mode.

1 Lift the handset off the base unit and press (Ý) or (Ü) to enter the Caller List.

2 Press (Ý) or (Ü) repeatedly to ﬁnd the caller you want to store in the directory. Press FWD/EDIT (ß) (Yes key).

3 Press (Ý) or (Ü) to select “Save directory”. Press FWD/EDIT (ß) (Yes key).

If there is no name information for the caller, “Enter name” will be displayed.

a)If a name is not required, press (Ý) (Next key) and FWD/EDIT (ß)

(Save key).

b)If a name is required, enter the name (p. 52). When ﬁnished, press (Ý) (Next key) and FWD/EDIT (ß)

(Save key).

³A beep sounds.

³The display will return to step 2. You can continue storing other items.

To return to the standby mode, press (FUNCTION/EXIT/CH).
