Editing an Item in the Phone Book Handset

1Press the soft key (Phone book).

2Press the soft key (Search).

3	Scroll to the desired item by pressing [d] or
		Jane
	[B], then press the soft key (Edit).	345-6789		EditL
	• To search for the item by initial, see page 46.	KErase
4	Edit the name (p. 45), then press [d].

	• If you do not need to change the name, press [d]
	then go to step 5.	Kf	d=Next		gL
5	Edit the phone number, then press [d].

	• If you do not need to change the number, press
		Kf	d=Next		PL
	[d] then go to step 6.

•Each time you press f, a digit is erased. To erase all of the digits, press and hold f.

6Press the soft key (Save).

• To continue editing other items, repeat from step 3.

7Press [OFF].

2	Press the soft key (Search).
3	Scroll to the desired item by pressing [d] or
		Helen
	[B], then press the soft key (Erase).	555-777-8888
	• After an item is erased, its next item is announced.	KErase	EditL

• To search for the item by initial, see page 46.

4Press the soft key (Yes).

• To erase other items, repeat from step 3.
