The cordless handset automatically dials the
access number.
3Follow the pre-recorded instructions.
4When nished, press (OFF).
(Base\Unit)
1Press (VM).
The base unit is connected to the telephone line and automatically dials
the access number.
If 3 beeps sound, you have not stored the voice mail access number. Store
the number (p. 52, 53).
2Follow the pre-recorded instructions.
3When nished, press (DIGITAL\SP-PHONE).
If Voice mail and “” still remain on the display, the VM (Voice mail)
indicator on the base unit still ashes even if you have listened to your voice mail
message(s), press (MUTE/FUNCTION), and press and hold
(CLEAR/INTERCOM/HOLD) until the unit beeps. Voice mail and “” will
disappear and the VM (Voice mail) indicator will turn off.
If your voice mail service uses a voice mail tone and the recorded message is
over 3 minutes long, Voice mail and “” may not be displayed, the VM
(Voice mail) indicator may not ash.
If your voice mail service uses a voice mail tone, the tone will be heard from any
parallel connected phone. If you use another phone to retrieve messages, you
have to dial your access number manually.
