Handset noise reduction
This feature allows you to hear the voice of
the person you are talking to clearly, by
reducing the surrounding noise coming from
the other party’s telephone.
Press MNOISE REDUCTIONN to turn on/off
while talking.
Note:
RWhen this feature is turned on, is
displayed while talking.
RDepending on the environment where this
handset is being used, this feature may not
be effective.
RThis feature is not available using the
speakerphone.
RWhen both the Equalizer setting and
noise reduction are activated, is
shown on the display.
Handset equalizer
This feature clarifies the voice of the person
you are talking to, producing a more
natural-sounding voice that is easier to hear
and understand.
1Press MMENUN while talking.
2MbN: Equalizer a MSELECTN
3MbN: Select the desired setting.
4Press MOKN to exit.
Note:
RWhen this feature is activated, is
displayed while talking.
RDepending on the condition and quality of
your telephone line, this feature may
emphasize existing line noise. If it becomes
difficult to hear, turn this feature off.
RThis feature is not available while using the
speakerphone.
Call share
You can join an existing outside call.
nWhile another unit is on a cellular call:
1To join the conversation, press
MCELLN.
RYou can join the conversation when:
only 1 cellular phone is paired.
a specific line is set to make
cellular calls (page 20).
2MbN: Select the desired cellular phone.
a MSELECTN
nWhile another unit is on a landline call:
To join the conversation, press MN.
Note:
RA maximum of 3 parties (including 1 outside
party) can join a conversation using 2
extensions. (3-way conference)
RTo prevent other users from joining your
conversations with outside callers, turn call
sharing mode off (page 41).

Transferring a cellular call from the

handset to a cellular phone

1Press MMENUN during a cellular call.
2MbN: Transfer to cell a
MSELECTN
RThe cellular call is transferred to the
cellular phone.
Note:
RDepending on your cellular phone type, you
may need to set the cellular phone to be
ready to talk before transferring. For
example, if your cellular phone has a top
cover, open it beforehand.

Transferring a cellular call from a

cellular phone to the handset

During a conversation using a cellular phone,
the call cannot be transferred to the handset
by the cellular phone. Perform the following
with the handset.
1During a conversation using a cellular
phone, press MCELLN.
RThe call is transferred to the handset
when:
only 1 cellular phone is paired.
a specific line is set to make cellular
calls (page 20).
