Special programming
Night mode
Night mode allows you to select a period of time
during which the unit will not ring for outside calls.
This feature is useful for time periods when you do
not want to be disturbed, for example, while
sleeping. Night mode can be set independently for
each base unit and handset.
Important:
RSet the date and time beforehand (page 13).
RIf you have set the alarm, the alarm sounds
even if the night mode is turned on.
Setting the start and end time

2Enter the desired hour and minute you wish to
start this feature.

4Enter the desired hour and minute you wish to
end this feature.

6Proceed with the operation for your unit.

RWhen the night mode is set, is displayed.
Alarm
An alarm sounds at the set time for 3 minutes
once or daily. Alarm can be set for each handset.

Off Turns alarm off. Go to step 7.

Daily An alarm sounds daily at the set time.

RWe recommend selecting a different ringer
tone from the one used for outside calls.
7MSELECTN a MOFFN
RWhen the alarm is set, is displayed.
Note:
RTo stop the alarm, press MOFFN or place the
handset on the charger.
RWhen the handset is in use, the alarm will not
sound until the handset is in standby mode.
RWhen the ringer volume for outside calls of the
2 lines is set to off (page 27), the alarm sound is
heard at a low level.
